Each one of our patients has a unique story and journey that HLA loves to be apart of. We get the chance to walk alongside our patients and their families and create a plan that is specific and special to them. The chance to provide them with an opportunity to grow and progress. The chance to impact their story, just as they impact ours.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t \n\t\t\t\t \n

\n\t\tMeet Emma\t\n<\/h1>\n\t

Emma has been attending occupational therapy services at HLA since 2020. Emma is diagnosed with Rett syndrome, which, among other things, impacts her mobility and her ability to communicate. She has been working with Brenna in Occupational Therapy to improve her independence in activities of daily living and her feeding skills. She loves to jump and swing, and her favorite thing about therapy is the fruit loops!\u00a0Emma is very energetic and determined, and keeps everybody on their toes. She is sweet and sassy, but always has a hug or a smile for her favorite therapists and any friend holding a snack!<\/p>\n\t
